Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) – Newcastle
An eight-week practical training on decreasing stress and increasing resilience. The MBSR course is a pathway to greater skill, wisdom, and the ability to meet whatever life brings, offering hope for a way forward that embraces life in all its fullness.

Mindfulness in daily life (link currently not working – please click on current courses in the black bar under the photo on the home page).                                                                                                                   A 4 week introduction/refresher to mindfulness.  In the 1.5 hour long classes we will cover the mindfulness of body, emotions, thoughts and practices to take into daily life.  Each week will incorporate teaching, practices and discussion with home practices of 15 minutes daily.

Moving Toward Emotional Balance – Newcastle
Learn techniques for self-regulation through movement, breath and relaxation. This six-week series of small group classes (6-10 people) would be well suited to anyone who is interested in increasing their resilience in the face of stress, illness, pain, depression or anxiety.

Mindfulness for Teens
The .b program developed by the Mindfulness in Schools Project taught in schools and as an after-school program.
