Mindfulness with Nature
A fun two days where children learn mindfulness skills which they practice in nature – listening walks in the paddocks, mindful eating while picnicking under a tree, awareness of body sensations walking up the hill, and learning from being with the llamas.
Mindfulness skills help with paying attention, self-awareness, self-regulation, and enjoying life.
These two days are best suited to children 7 – 12yo.
Location: Black Hill, NSW (between Maitland and Newcastle) on a beautiful 50 acre llama farm.
Parents are welcome to stay and share this experience with their child/children for no additional fee.
Please contact Kara if you would like to organise a course for your child and their friends (minimum 8).
Please note that the mindfulness training Kara offers is educational rather than therapeutic.
It does not constitute clinical treatment but is a sharing of mindfulness techniques to support children in developing their own practice in daily life.
