At Hunter Mindfulness we combine the teaching of mindfulness with contemporary neuroscience, medical knowledge, and compassionate communication. We offer courses that can help you to manage the stresses of modern life and live with more presence, peace and choice.

The teachers listed on this site have been trained to teach Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and have a personal, long-term meditation and yoga/mindful movement practice.

MBSR is an educational, rather than therapeutic approach to learning mindfulness. This training does not constitute clinical treatment but is a sharing of mindfulness techniques to support people in developing their own practice in daily life, hence the teachers may come to this training from an education or a health background.
